Idaho-Montana-Oregon District: Delivery Operations in the Eugene, OR, Area
During the week of June 22, 2026, we performed a self-initiated audit at the Eugene Local Processing Center (LPC) and three delivery units serviced by the facility. The delivery units included the River Road Station, Roseburg Main Post Office, and Southside Station.
We issued individual reports for the three delivery units and the LPC. We will also issue another report summarizing the results of our audits of all three delivery units with specific recommendations for management.
The audit team identified deficiencies in six areas we reviewed at the delivery units affecting mail delivery and property conditions. In addition, the audit team identified unattempted delivery of advertisement mailpieces at the River Road Station.
