Who runs the Postal Service Health Benefits Plan?

Did you know - health care plans image

Effective as of January 2025, USPS employees, retirees, and their families have a new health benefits program — the Postal Service Health Benefits Program (PSHB). While run separately from the Federal Employees Health Benefit (FEHB) Program, it is still managed by OPM within the broader FEHB program and is designed to offer comparable coverage to FEHB. The one big change is that most PSHB enrollees must sign up for Medicare Part B at age 65. For more information, visit OPM’s website: Postal Service Health Benefits Program.
