Shedding a Light on USPS Service Performance
You probably have heard a lot recently about the pandemic and other issues causing problems with mail delivery, with some people saying it takes weeks for packages and letters to arrive. Maybe you even experienced problems yourself. Maybe you’ve been getting your mail on time and wondering what all the complaints are about.
Did you ever wish you could get a better understanding of how the Postal Service is doing across the country? Well, now you can. We recently launched a new service performance webpage that includes an interactive map displaying quarterly data on the Postal Service’s service performance around the country.
You can filter the data by time period, geography, mail class, or service standard. Want to see on-time performance for presorted First-Class Mail that is supposed to be delivered in two days? You can. Maybe you’re interested in focusing on Marketing Mail in New York? You can filter the map to see that also.
We will continue to update this page quarterly as the Postal Service releases new data. The interactive map is not all the website features; it also functions as a one-stop-shop for all the OIG’s published and upcoming work on service performance. So, take a look and tell us what you think

You are doing an atrocious job and should be ashamed of yourself; you should resign now before you’ve completely decimated the service.

I wonder if my tabs for my car will ever arrive , here in Florida from Michigan.
Parcels and letters seam to wind up in the skip , with little thought or rational thinking on how this cld effect others ?! Does USPS have a personality quiz to gage if ppl are mentally stable to handle the mail & the ramifications if its just thrown asunder ?
With no thought or conscience ????
I really wonder that , since my mail carrier has a personality disorder of sorts , and just does not care if you get ur mail or if its fwd or not.
Pretty frightening state of affairs with so much riding , on the distribution.
PASS THE BUCK!
Nothing ever changes from all of the complaints of the people of this nation. I believe that when a business cannot or will not correct the problems, they should be shut down. I believe that a private company could do a much better job.
Since our Congress seems to choose to disregard this problem, I believe our American Public, should start contacting every media outlet that will listen, to effect a change. Since our Congress is elected, maybe the next votes should be given to someone that will listen.
When they lose a package they want YOU to describe the box (how would you know what the box looks like….. you never got the damned thing!). Three months later you get an email telling you the search was unsuccessful because you DID NOT ADEQUATELY DESCRIBE THE BOX!
I live in Greenville, NC. Just this morning, a package left Rocky Mount hub and arrived at my destination in Greenville. IT THEN WHEN BACK TO ROCKY MOUNT!
Just visit your local branch. They hire anyone with a beating heart. Apathy rules the day.
