What is USPS doing to reduce mail theft?

To combat the rise in mail theft, the Postal Service has a joint initiative with the Postal Inspection Service called Project Safe Delivery.  This includes the rollout of high-security collection boxes and taking steps to better manage, protect, and modernize the keys it uses to unlock collection boxes, outdoor parcel lockers, cluster box units, and apartment boxes.
