Benjieve "Ben" Joseph | Assistant Inspector General, Research Insights Solutions Center

Ben Joseph joined U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General in January 2022 and has served in the capacity of Chief Data Officer (CDO) since June 2022. He leads the Research and Insights Solutions Center (RISC), which is the primary component supporting agency’s mission by employing data analytics. RISC also performs research on topics that have a far-reaching impact in the postal domain.  

Before joining the OIG, Mr. Joseph held several leadership roles in the private sector, including Sr. Technical Director and Fellow consulting with federal, state, and private sector entities. He is a technologist and transformative leader with over 28 years of experience. He builds sustainable data-driven organizations, strategizes and executes digital transformation initiatives, and is an innovator, mentor and change agent.  

He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Bharathiar University in India and a master’s degree in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University.
