Perry P. Lin | Assistant Inspector General, Mission Support and Chief Financial Officer
Perry Lin was appointed to the role of Assistant Inspector General for Mission Support and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in December 2022 and has worked with the USPS Office of Inspector General since December 2018. In this role, Mr. Lin’s primary objective is to support the core mission of the OIG by providing oversight to four administrative support functions providing the organization with comprehensive financial, procurement, human capital, facilities, and asset management.
Mr. Lin has a background in Industrial Engineering and began his career with the Postal Service as an Operations Industrial Engineer. He followed this with a variety of positions with increasing responsibilities supporting processing operations, facilities administrative support and facilities program management. After his tenure with the Postal Service, he joined the USPS OIG as the Logistics and Support Services Director and served as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Mission Support.
Mr. Lin holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
