PITTSBURGH, PA - A resident of Butler, Pennsylvania, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on a charge of violating federal postal laws, United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced today. The United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General conducted the investigation leading to the Indictment in this case.

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced today that DAZMON DYER, age 30, a resident of New Orleans, pleaded guilty on October 12, 2023 to a two-count indictment charging him with delay of U.S. mail and theft of U.S. mail matter by a postal employee, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1703 and 1709. The case was investigated by the United States Postal Service, Office of the Inspector General.

HELENA — A carrier who delivered mail for the U.S. Postal Service was sentenced today after she admitted to stealing mail from her route in search of cash and gift cards from more than 90 victims, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service conducted the investigation in collaboration with the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General.

WASHINGTON – Hachikosela Muchimba, 43, of Washington, D.C., was charged by criminal complaint with mail theft and bank fraud, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves, Special Agent in Charge Imari Niles, of the U.S. Postal Service Office of the Inspector General.
