NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – United States Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that DAVID RAYFORD (“RAYFORD”), age 40, of Kenner, La., was sentenced by United States District Judge Wendy B. Vitter on October 17, 2024, to one year probation, payment of a $100 mandatory special assessment fee and three hundred dollars in restitution, for Mail Theft, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1709.

INDIANAPOLIS—Justin Crain, 29, of Indianapolis, has been convicted of a felony and sentenced to 180 days of home detention, followed by three years of probation, 40 hours of community service, and a $5,000 fine after pleading guilty to mail theft by a U.S. Postal Service employee.

Montgomery, Alabama – On September 20, 2024, a federal district judge sentenced 44-year-old James Glover, a former postal carrier and resident of Montgomery, Alabama, to 24 months in prison for his involvement in a fraudulent mail theft and bank fraud scheme, announced Acting United States Attorney Kevin Davidson.
