    Yea it said my comment was caught by a spam filter so I had to change some words. I've never ever had a problem with the USPS since I had a package go through the Texas USPS. I sent out a package during Memorial weekend from Chicago to Texas and it got there in 6 days. I was supposed to receive a package back from the same address which was shipped out May 31, 2017 and I have yet to receive it and it is now July 17, 2017. After a month went by I put in a search for missing mail and 2 weeks later I got a phone call and I was told they couldn't find my package. The package was insured so I decided to put in a claim and I was denied for not giving them enough proof of value (They were a pair of Nik shoes worth more but I only asked for $77.42 the value from ebay) so I appealed and it's about a month and a half later and I still have not heard anything from them. I also had ebay fees and shipping costs which I didn't ask for. I'm giving them plenty of time to resolve this but it seems like it's not gonna happen. Next I will be contacting a few people and it will be taken care of.

    I've been waiting for a priority mail package to arrive in Fort Worth from Memphis. Expected delivery was Friday, July 14, 2017. USPS website says the package has been in a Dallas destination facility for two days without any further tracking updates. When I called customer service there was a forty minute to an hour wait time to speak with an agent. Needless to say I didn't wait for an agent. What is going on?

    You guys are such a pathetic excuse for a service. I had a package that needed to get here TODAY, sent by ONE DAY priority mail and shows no progress since wednesday. None. There is NO REASON it shouldn't be here. How hard is it?

    I ordered two things on the same day (July 1st) and I received one of them on July 6th as it didn't travel through the North Texas processing center. The processing center is in Coppell, Texas and I'm in Dallas waiting for my package. Somehow my package arrived at the processing center and was then sent to San Jose, California? I know I've only been waiting a week, but how in the hell is my package in California now when it was just 30 minutes away???

    I have an extremely important letter coming from Jacksonville, FL departed on June 27th, 2017 to Houston, TX. Here we are July 7th and still no letter. That is 8 mailing days 7 business days....I would have done better traveling to pick up the letter clearly it does not or should not take this amount of time.

    Reading a few of these makes me feel that the N. Texas Distribution Center is truly one of the most mismanaged facilities I have encountered in over 45 years of adult life. A 2 oz envelope was sent from the Jax, FL PO certified/tracking & arrived at N. Texas on the 19th. It arrived at the appropriate DALLAS POST OFFICE, 75261 SEVEN (7) DAYS after going around & around this N. Texas facility. If this is the example of how efficient US union labor is then I think unions should be abolished & hire non-union workers to do the better job without a false sense of entitlement & tenured protections!!

    I have had several issues with NORTH TEXAS PROCESSING AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER not scanning for days and days!! It is SO STRESSFUL for people like myself who sell products online... Customers get angry and think they've been cheated or that nothing has been sent. Our accounts suffer with bad feedback and we spend countless hours stressing and praying the item will turn up. Oh and Priority from Dallas to Houston? 4 days!! Ugggh! Someone is dropping the ball big time at this facility

    Since the first of this year I've sent mail 3 times through Wylie Texas post office. I've sent regular mail to Arkansas twice and both times it's taken a least a month to get from Texas to Arkansas. The last time I drop mail at Wylie post office at 6pm the blue mail sending box was full of mail I could feel mail at my finger tips as I put mail in the box, completely full. Not sure what the problem is but my brother who also lives in Wylie has had the same timing issue with sending mail.

    On April 26 I sent a certified letter with return receipt to a business located in zip code 75245. It reached at P O.75245 on April 28 for out delivery but as per USPS web site return to Po for unknown reason. The return Journey start thereafter HOP around post offices among TX 75019, 75260 come back to P O 75019 again go back to P O. 75260, and then traveled to P.O 75240. on May 12th it gone out for delivery, Now it is on the AIR waiting further instruction from P. O Staff of 75240. During this period I called at P O 75240, I was told they will check and call me next day . Finally on May 18th I wrote letters to Postmasters of each Po the letter traveled ( Zip code 75013, 75002, 75260, 75240, 75245, and NTP&D Ctr Coppell TX 75019, so far NO_ Response. on May 22 I personally visited P>O> 75240, which was the last Junction of the subject letter, I was promised that some one will call me next day but as usual NO- Response. There is no entry on USPS Web site since May 12 th, 2017. I was thinking to forward the copy of the letter to Director General Office in DC, If any one Knows the Address I will appreciate. Thanks

    I sent a package 5/2/17 from WA to TX it was received by Dallas, TX facility zip 75398 on 5/6/17 it's now 5/14/17 only 4 hours away from destination address. Filled a complaint on 5/10/18 someone was supposed to call me in 3 days, no calls and no 800 number is able to help. It's so disappointing not to trust the USPS anymore.

    Feeling the same frustration. After a 54-minute hold with the main USPS line, I was merely told, "I don't know what to tell you. Your mail is at the distribution center in Dallas. I don't know." Sad that you cannot trust these folks and no one seems too eager to help out.

    I have a delayed package that has just been sitting at the North Texas Processing and Distribution Center and it is really imperative that I get this package ASAP as it was supposed to have been here (Houston, TX) 3 days ago. What I have been reading on here and other forums has me even more concerned because everybody keeps referring to this place as a "black hole". Please help.

    If the USPS is not working, we need to close it down and establish more locations in rural areas with Fed Ex and UPS. It appears mail cannot get from OK to Frisco, TX. I sent my daughter an important first class letter and it took over 3 weeks for her to receive it. If the system can't be repaired, I say get rid of it.

    I was expecting a certified letter mailed from Bremerton, Washington mailed April 2, 2017 . Expected delivery date in Houston Texas was April 4, 2017. The letter reached North Texas processing center April 3 . There have been no other updates. This letter is greatly needed as my wife and I are trying to buy a house. I have called numerous times and like many of the comments that I have read say, "We will investigate the situation and get back to you" I filed a case number one week after the letter was to arrive. Each time I call they say someone will get back to you. I have only had one person contact me back and her response was I have sent the center a snap shot of my screen showing your information. They have no idea where this certified letter is. So far missing this one piece of information has cost my wife her dream home 3 times. Something has to be done about this center. I do not understand why when you ask to speak to a supervisor you are told that someone will call you back. Like most people I work until late afternoon and I cant stay on the phone during working hours to get a response. My wife has also mentioned contacting the local media to report this horrible situation.

    I have a box that was mailed out from the Houston Texas office to the Dallas Processing Center and the contents were taking out of the box and empty box mailed back. I'm told that they don't know where the contents are and can't help me. I need someone from the DALLLAS processing center to reach out to me ASAP or I will be on the news. I have before and after pictures, tracking and no HELP<<<<

    I sent a certified mail on the 30th of March and it is stil in "Departed USPS Facility NORTH TEXAS PROCESSING AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER". I called many times in order to see what's going on, but the only answer is "ok, we'll investigate!". I sent all my documents for my visa and probably for this late or lost, I have to go back to Italy.

    Sent out an item on March 20 from San Diego and it arrived at this facility on March 22. The last update was on March 22 that it was sent out from this facility and is in transit to its destination... Apparently that's still the case 2 WEEKS LATER. This is ridiculous

    Ok folks, I understand things happen at the Post Office, tons of mail, of this and that. What gets me is that, some people don't want to take ownership/responsibility for their actions. They seem to not care. All that was said to me was, "Yes sir, your right, it does appear to be missing" it was very hard to understand the CS Rep. I believe she said, she was in India. No offense, just hard to understand. I have tried and tried to contact supervisors, lead people, etc. at U.S.P.S. to no avail. I didn't want for it to go this far, but I'm in a tight spot, I am to pay a lawyer $3700.00 and the cashier's check, is out there floating around. If they don't get the check, they are going to garnish my wages. Like I said I hate to do this, but I going to have to get hold of either, one of the local t.v. stations ( consumer reporters)Good Luck Folks, I'll give it another 3 days, then if no answer, have/ to do the deed. I think that's only fair.

    This is the only mail that I have an issue with going to your facility, that is to go to the Plano, Texas USPS. This mail was sent certified on 3/29 at 5:01pm for the Mesquite USPS facility,with a expected delivery date 3/31. As of today this has not reached it destination. Checking the USPS TRACKING it states that as of April 1, 2017 that it was in transit to Destination. Then it states the package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date, An updated delivery date will be provided when available. The item is currently in transit to the destination as of April 1, 2017 at 10:20, what is taking this mail 7 days and still not been delivery to the addressee. This mail is address to the Legacy Texas Bank in Plano, Texas 75023. This issue also happen in February, mailed not reaching its destination. What is the PROBLEM with getting the mail out to be delivery on time.

    My item was shipped priority from Mckinney, TX to Va. It was shipped with 1-3 day shipping on 3/28/2017. It has now been 8 days and no updates other than it has departed facility. This is a gift and it is unacceptable! This is the third time this has happened to us. When are you going to fix this problem????

    Almost 8 days from Memphis, passed up it's destination in Shreveport and, is now at the North Texas Distribution Center? Unfortunately I have little confidence in this ace because of the complaints I have seen here. So, I guess you can add my name to the long list of complaints. By the way, do you even plan to fix this problem? Will be giving my business to ups whenever I can from now on.

    This place sucks. One of my packages has been there since the 9th. In the past I have had packages sit there for an entire month, also with 0 update when it finally did leave. How do we stop packages from sitting there indefinitely?

    Expecting a package from CA. It made a stop at this NORTH TEXAS PROCESSING AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER. It doesnt seem to be moving. The Post Office Inspector General needs to seriously investigate this mess of a Center. Someone is stealing mail or taking it to a dumpster to never be seen again. Not the first time I've had issues with North TX Processing Center. As others have said it's a black hole. I panic when I see my packages stop at this place..

    What is going on at the North Texas Processing and Distribution Center? My product is a First Class Mail / Merchandise Return Service. I sent it on March 1st and it arrived at this distribution center on March 3rd. It's expected delivery date was March 4th and it is STILL at the distribution center. I am seriously worried because the package contains a cellphone that I am returning to AT&T and it only has 10 day to get there! Otherwise, AT&T would charge me for the phone I currently possess. Today is March 9th and I am trying to contact the distribution center. I would appreciate if someone contacted me OR if an insurance claim has to be opened for someone to do something about it.

    Same problem here ... I had a certified letter sent from new york to Allen tx 75013 to be delivered to a po box there on 3/7/17 and for some reason it's been stuck some where since it left the NORTH TEXAS PROCESSING AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER !!! Still no update !!!

    This processing center is literally the black hole of the USPS. I've had several issues with this processing center. Luckily 2 packages finally made their way out, but one is still lost in la la land 2 months later. Now my favorite part, if you go to their Facebook page you can see their employees getting drunk on the job and other recreational activities not intended for a workplace. Just scroll the wall and there are many. My personal favorite is this one though, drunk at work. Perhaps if people weren't drinking on the job packages wouldn't be going missing. And let's not forget the 1.4 star average on FB and 1 star average on every other social media account (Yelp, Google, etc). Why is this place not being investigated and shut down?

    USPS went from bad to worse!!! Packages are getting lost in Dallas. I haven't received two packages in less than a month, one of them it's been in Dallas since February 25, 6:44am., somebody is having way to much fun at their warehouse, the customer service is a joke. 1 to 2 hours wait on the phone to find out about you lost mail or packages and then somebody decided to hang off the phone. Somebody needs to do something about it, that's the reason why a lot of people is using Fedex or UPS.

    From Grapevine, TX, our package then spent 10 days at North Texas USPS (Feb 13 to Feb 23), then North Texas Processing Center and on to Coppell, TX. Not sure why it would go from North Texas to Coppell, because the package is supposed to go to Galveston. It is Feb 24th and we still haven't received our package. Something's wrong!

    I need my mail to stop getting "lost". I have been trying to send letters to my future husband and they never make it to him so I have to resend my mail always to him. And it's not a plain letter. I draw in that letter and make it really creative and spend days working on letters since we live so far due to our circumstances. He finally got my letter after two attempts resending it and now his letters NEVER REACH ME. I know since we don't have a tracking number you can't find it, but it is a piece of valuable mail to me and I would really appreciate if our letters can actually get to us. And no, I don't want to use email or technology for communication we want to do it the old fashioned way it's meaningful to us and it would be greatly appreciated if I could entrust in my mail center to do the same. He resent his letter to me on Thursday 2/17/2017 and it still hasn't reached me and my sister told me she gets mail from Chicago in 3-4 days. And it is not just my letters I've read numerous stories of packages with tracking numbers and letters getting "lost" or disappearing. I honestly just want my letter from my man I really didn't want to complain, but it now seems necessary to. These letters matter to me and I'm going to complain to whoever it may concern because this is unexceptionable. Cayla C.

    I'm having the same problem. My girlfriend is in Chicago and 2 out of 5 packages got lost and 2 from her are gone. Something's going on... You can file a complaint and nothing happens. These are insured priority boxes and they have special gifts and almost half are gone. They won't pay unless you have merchandise receipts from 2 months ago. We use UPS when possible now. I'm sick and tired of this abuse and theft...

    I supposed to receive a package on the Feb, 9th, 2017. On Saturday the 11th, I check on my email for the tracking number to see what has happened. It did creep me out to see, that it was already delivered on Thursday the 9th but not to me. So yesterday morning I called my local Post Office and the Supervisor sounded stupid, he offered, that I'd have information about my package by the end of the day. Well, I heard nothing. So today I contacted the Consumer Affairs of my local P.O. and the lady was very nice and helpful. And one thing I learned new today, it was, that all the portable scanners, that the mail carriers have, they have GPS. So by the tracking number, they are able to know if it was delivered, when and where. I think that's fantastic!! And by the way I found package.

    Shipped an insured package (tube) 300 insurance and it made it to the North Texas Processing center and has dissappeared, like so many other packages (12 opened cases with USPS as i type). 4 Lost packages in 40 day. I ship roughly 10,000 packages a year and over the last 6 months it has become VERY VERY BAD. Consumer affairs and customer service are no help, they usually tell me im doing something wrong like addressing them or taping them wrong. They take no accountability for there mess.I would love to hear from someone at the top about this, but know i never will.
