What Will the OIG Audit Next?
Here at “Pushing the Envelope,” we like to keep our readers informed about the OIG’s work, often by highlighting a recent audit report. And anyone who’s spent more than a few minutes on this website knows there are lots of reports posted here. In short, we’ve done a lot.
But we’re always continuing to do more, and we want to let you know about it. That’s why we’re launching a new page today — Upcoming Audit Work. On this page you’ll find a brief description of some of our recently started audit projects. It also provides an estimate of when the audit report will be finished.
Best part: For the first 45 days after announcing the upcoming audit, we will provide you with the opportunity to submit comments. If you have any knowledge of or experience with the topic of a project listed, we’d like to hear from you. Your input is valuable to us, so please check out the page periodically. We’ll be updating it with new audit projects as they develop.
If you would like to receive email notifications when we post a new upcoming audit, you can subscribe here and select “Upcoming Audits” and any other topics you are interested in hearing about from us.
Our job is to ensure the integrity, accountability, and efficiency of the nation’s postal system. You can help us by providing insights for our upcoming audits. Thanks in advance!
