The U.S. Postal Service considers mail delayed when it is not processed in time to meet its established delivery day.

The Santa Clarita, CA, Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) is responsible for processing and distributing mail for more than 1.1 million delivery points in Southern California, including ZIP Codes beginning with 910 to 916 in Burbank, Glendale, North Hollywood, Pasadena, and Van Nuys.

From April 2016 through September 2016, the Santa Clarita P&DC reported a 55 percent increase in delayed mail compared to the same period last year. Delayed mail at the Santa Clarita P&DC could lead to late mail delivery.

Sent a package to Norwalk, CT 06854 on 12/23 and now it's in Santa Clarita, Ca 91383. Fine job of delivery package for Christmas. Very upset daughter right now. She did not get a present. How do we get package returned to us? Why was it sent West when CT is East Coast. What is going on in NJ? What happen to zip codes and tracking. So discussed with your service.

Our mail has been delayed frequently over the last nine to ten months. Last month our deliveries were arriving between 7 and 9 PM. There are days when the mail does not arrive at all. Outgoing Priority Mail has been running up to 7-8 days. Last month a Priority package sat at 90045 for 4 days. Reached Houston in 8 days. Additionally, an increase in mail delivered to the wrong address. Many times on our block, but twice for people on the other side of the town with different street name, number, and zip code. We now drop our mail at the post office to be safer than waiting for the pick-up. Maybe raise the prices of stamps so you can improve service. Or reduce delivery to five days per week instead of six. Thanks

It has caused me to have a huge delay in receiving mail I ordered from that area. I ordered 2 day shipping and most orders came on time and then several came weeks later.
