Delivery
USPS OIG
The U.S. Postal Service delivers mail to more than 149 million addresses using city, rural and contractor carriers. The Postal Service strives to continue to improve delivery operations and reduce costs despite the increasing number of delivery points to the network each year and declining First-Class MailĀ® volume.
The Delivery Directorate plans and directs audits and reviews that examine how the Postal Service is addressing the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of delivery and vehicle operations.
